Welcome to the Seneca Valley Hockey Association (SVHA) 

2024-2025 Registration!

Registration OPEN: April 1 to April 30, 2024

($25 late fee if registering AFTER April 30)

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and register your player for the 2024-2025 season.

****PLEASE NOTE THIS INFORMATION IS UTILIZED TO ROSTER TEAMS, COMMUNICATE THROUGHOUT THE SEASON & FOR SPORTSENGINE, SO PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME, SPELL YOUR PLAYERS NAME CORRECTLY, ENSURE THE BIRTHDAY IS ACCURATE, ETC **** 

+  SVHA participates in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL) and will conduct Tryouts for our Ice Hockey teams at Baierl Ice Complex.

+  Please refer to the SVHA web site for tryout dates and times.

+  To be eligible to play SVHA, players must reside in the Seneca Valley School District and must be entering grades 6 through 12 for the 2024-25 school year.

+  Players should attend ALL Tryout sessions for which they are grade eligible. 

- Middle School: Grades 6-8 AND birth years (2010-2012)

- JV and Varsity: Grades 9-12

+The tryout/registration fee is non-refundable. Seneca Valley is a check free organization - Your player will not be permitted on the ice until the fee is paid. 

+  Players should arrive at the rink ONLY 45 minutes prior to each session and check in at the registration table - please bring the following to May Tryouts:

       -  Copy of your player’s Birth Certificate if NEW to SVHA

+  SVHA will provide each skater with a reversible jersey with a number for tryouts.  Tryout numbers will be randomly assigned. This jersey will be RETURNED at the end of the skater's tryout sessions.  Failure to return the jersey will result in a $100 fee.  No names and no emblems of PAHL, PIHL or AAA teams are permitted at tryouts.  Please also remove identifying pants shells and socks for tryouts. Players will be asked to leave the ice and remove identifying items before returning to the tryout.

+  As part of participating in SVSD extracurricular activities, the following paperwork/requirements need to be completed and turned in by the date set by the SV Athletic Department for Fall Sports (early August):  Once the date is released by Seneca Valley School District, it will be posted on the SVHA website. 

1. PIAA Paperwork #1, 2, 5 and 6 COMPLETED by you and dated AFTER June 1, 2024.

2. PIAA #7 physical examination marked CLEARED by a physician and dated AFTER June 1, 2024.

+  SVSD sets a summer schedule for the screenings at the main campus. These screening dates will be published on the SVHA website once they are released by the SV Athletic Department. The required forms to complete are available on the District's website at www.svsd.net OR senecavalleyhockey.sportngin.com
